Happy New Year!

New Years Eve is a special day, a new year with new opportunities! Some of us can look back at 2010 and say it was a great year, others look back and think about pain, frustrations and bruises. However your life is or has been this year you can still have a positive attitude towards 2011. Don't let things in your past haunt your future. Think positive, no matter the situation. Sometimes we are put in to situations that we can't change. For example your parents are getting a divorce, you are struggling at school, you suffered a bad break up, you're lonely or many other tough things. You can't change those things, but you can change your attitude towards them. Also God is always ready to help you out, so just keep on praying. Focus on what's good rather than what's bad.

This fall I was so depressed, I had anxiety, I felt like I had no friends I could trust, I was rejected by someone I really liked and everything seemed dark and hopeless. Everyday I would wish I didn't exist, I wished I was never born. But my father in heaven saw my pain, because he sees all our thoughts, views and hurts. And he is a loving father that cares for his children.

Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Psalm 34:18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

I was prayed for and in three weeks my life radically changed. I was healed from my depression! My outlook on life became positive and I just didn't understand why I was so depressed. I started to find things to rejoice over in my everyday life. On christmas eve I went to church, and as I was sitting there I remember thinking: “2011 is going to be a fantastic year! I've been set free!” I was so filled with joy and got tears of happiness in my eyes. Every New Years Eve the last four years I have been dreading whats to come. Today I say this new year is going to be awesome. And I hope you will say it with me!

If your feeling sad or scared just know that God sees that pain and wants to set you free. He wants you to have an amazing year. And tell yourself “this can be the year when things change for the better”

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

So have an awesome new year! Lots of love <3

The Biggest Present in the world!part 2

Yay! God has given us a HUGE gift. But what good is a gift if we don't open it? This year my big sister gave me a beautiful dress for christmas. Now imagine if i tok a look at the wrapped up present and then just lay it aside. I would not get a chance to use the beautiful dress inside. And you may think; wow thats crazy, who doesn't open their pressies? But sadly this happens everyday. Lots of people hear about Jesus and then they just put him aside. They don't want to open the present because they are scared of what's inside. God can shower you with presents, but you can't use them unless you open them up. And then imagine if I did open the present and said Wow! What a gorgeous dress! Thank you so much. But instead of wearing it, I just put it aside in my closet. I never wore it. What good is a pressie if you don't use it? Many people do that too. They receive Jesus and say: HALLELUJAH! Amen! I'm saved. But they just look at him, they don't use him. They don't know him. And he is just longing to have a relationship with them, longing to help them when they are in trouble, longing to comfort them and longing for them to discover the wisdom in the bible. But he can't because they still just let him hang in the closet. What good is clothing you don't wear, just look at? Faith is not like a pretty dress, because you can't wear dresses everyday. Christianity is not like your sunday outfit that you only wear to church, it is something you can put on everyday. “Christianity is not a religion, it's a relationship”. God gave us Jesus not just to look at and say hallelujah, he gave us Jesus as our friend and saviour. My wish for 2011 is not for God to be part of my life, it's for God to be my life.

Hugs and pressies xxxooo

The Biggest Present in the world!part 1

Only two days left of Christmas, but I still want to post a christmassy post :)
When I hear the word "Christmas" I think of so many things! I think of christmas trees, lights in streets and on houses, family, good food, snow and of course PRESENTS! I looooooove pressies <3

Many would say christmas is not about the presents, but I say it's all about presents. Or shall I say the present.

Christmas is the time when God gave the biggest present anyone could ever imagine. He gave his only son Jesus to the world. That is the biggest present in history! And just writing about it makes me so happy because this present is special! You can receive it everyday. You can open it again and again, and God will continue to fill you with joy and do great things in your life.
Jesus is the joy of the world and if you receive him, he will bring great joy to your heart.
Luke 2:10:
But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.

Welcome

Hi!
Welcome to my blog. This little bloggy will be about my life as a christian teenage girl. I will write about my experiences with God and stuff that inspires me. I hope to inspire your heart and encourage you to live for Jesus. Jesus is just my hero! He loves us all so much and died for us! How cool isn't that!? This blog is called "We are precious", I choose that name because God has made us all special and we are all so precious. Especially us girls need a reminder of that sometimes! So I hope you enjoy reading my posts and that they make you smile :D
